Farm

GV II

Barn. Circa 1600 to centre, C18 to end right and C19 to end left. C19 cattleshed
to right end. Timber framed on brick and rubble plinth with weather board cladding,
rubblestone walls to rear and ends. Plain tiled roofs extending in catslide to
front right with ridge crest to cattleshed roof. L-shaped plan. 8 framed bays to
main barn. Stable door to left and double doors to centre. Pigeon openings to left
end. some fixed casements on front. Large doors to centre and on cattle shed.
Interior:- Mixture of roof trusses, both Queen post and strut. Windbracing to
centre bay. Diagonal bracing on wall frame to right end.
