Milestone. Probably C19. Doulting stone with cast iron plaque. Stone pillar 400 mm wide x 300 mm thick x 1.35 metres
high, with chamfered leading edges and rounded top; cast iron plaque 260 mm wide x 310 mm high, bolted to pillar;
reads: TO BRUTON 2; lower left hand corner damaged. One of a set on this road, taken over by the Bruton Trust in
1831.
