Detached cottage. Earlier C17. Local lias stone cut and squared, Ham stone dressings; thatched roof between coped
gables, brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Hollow chamfer mullioned windows in recesses, with square labels
to all but upper bay 2; outer bays 4-light above, bay 2 has 2-light below and 3-light above; all with rectangular
leaded panes and with some iron framed opening lights: to left of bay 2 an early C20 part glazed door in heavy cambered
arched timber frame. Outshut to rear. Interior not seen, but reported are beams with broad chamfers and step and runout
stops, massive beam to a blocked fireplace in north gable wall, stud and plank partitions, and early collar truss roof
showing signs of C17 adaptation. (VAG Report, SRO Unpublished, 1983).
