With No 13 Canon Street.
Large mid to late C19 house occupying an important corner site with identical frontages
facing north and east. 3 storeys plus basement. Yellow brick, slate roof. Eaves
band and plain pilasters, band over ground floor. Middle Street front has 3 windows
(blocked to left) in architrave surrounds with sill brackets, pediments with volutes
to lst floor, cornices with volutes to ground floor. Central round-headed doorcase
with vermiculated keystone and rich foliated capitals. Traceried fanlight, double
3 panel doors.

All the listed buildings on south side of Middle Street form a good group with
Nos 15 Canon Street.
