Terrace of 12 houses. C19 earlier-mid. Yellow stock brick and
rusticated stucco ground floors. 3 storeys and basements. 2
windows each. Square-headed doorways with pilaster-jambs
carrying cornice-heads; fanlights and panelled doors. No.31
entrance in stucco portico extension having pilasters and
recessed, architraved, round-arched doorway and panelled door.
No.53 entrance on right hand return. Recessed sashes; ground
floors with margin glazing except No.35. Upper floors,
architraved sashes; 1st floor with console-bracketed cornices
and cast-iron balconies. Stucco cornice and blocking course.
INTERIORS: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached
cast-iron railings with spearhead finials to areas.
