Ha-Ha and parapet wall. Circa 1840. Red brick with ashlar stone dressings. The wall is about six feet high to the park, and extends about 60 metres. The moulded stone coping forms a low wall to the garden side. Brick buttresses, sometimes grouped, some single, run the length of the wall, with small pavilions at the ends with gates, with quoined surrounds and heavy stone pediments and blocks above. The wall returns at both ends around the pavilion towards the house.
