Mid C19. Complete terrace forming north west side of De Montfort Square.
Gault brick with stuccoed architraves, bands and chamfered quoins. Slate
hipped roof. Wide modillion cornice. Three storeys. Fifteen windows,
end one and centre three project slightly with chamfered quoins. Sashes
without glazing bars, moulded shouldered architraves, first floor cornice
hoods, the end cornices supported on console brackets. First floor centre
three and end windows are casements with cast-iron balconies. Panelled
doors with rectangular fanlights in moulded shouldered architraves. Left-
hand return to Princess Road four windows. Right hand return to New Walk
three windows.

Statue of Robert Hall, Nos 1 to 11 (odd) No. 55 and Nos 98 to 104 (even)
New Walk De Monyford House and Nos 77 to 97 (odd) Princess Road form a
group around De Montford Square (Nos 77 to 97 (odd) Princess Road is a
building of local interest).
