C16 or earlier timber framed house, at right angles to road, with C18 front
wing of 2 storeys 2 windows in red brick with diagonal brick cornice. Hipped
tiled roof. Older part hassvery high pitched roof renewed in machine tiles.
Walls now pebble-dashed. Windows mainly C19 casements; 2 early-mid C19 sashes,
with vertical bars, on front. Inside some exposed timbers including one good
ground floor ceiling with chamfered beams and joists. Modern porch and door
at side.
