House. Mid to late C17 with C19 wing to south. Roughcast stone rubble with
slate roof. West elevation of 2 storeys and 3 bays, the 3rd bay breaks forward
under gable, forming return to C19 wing. 1st 2 bays have dripstone, interrupted
over porch. Ground floor windows are segmental-headed, fixed wood frames with
opening lights, similar straight-headed windows to 1st floor. Gabled central
porch with plank outer door. Cross-axial stack to right hand end. East facade
similar. Small windows with casements. Large gabled porch with gable-end stack
and plank door. South elevation of 2 storeys and 2 bays. Windows have tall
casements. Gabled porch with return entrance. Gable-end stacks and wide
verges. Interior not inspected, but said to have fireplace with wood heck and
C18 stone fireplace, front door with planted fillets and oak lock, lath and
plaster partition (R.C.H.M.).
