4 houses and outbuildings. Probably C18. Roughcast stone with slate roof.
2 storeys, 8 bays, each house of 2 bays, but Fold Cottage of one bay and Barn
End of 3 bays. Ground floor dripcourses. Most windows have small-paned
casements; 3rd bay of ground floor has 2 windows, one to left with small-paned
fixed glazing. 1st bay of 1st floor has small-paned fixed glazing with pivoted
upper part, 4th to 8th bays of 1st floor have top-hung small-paned casements.
3 houses have gabled slate canopies and rustic trellis sides to entrances;
2 half-glazed doors and stable type door to Rose Lea. Barn End has garage door
to ground floor and gable-end entrance. To rear of Barn End are 2 outbuildings,
the 2nd one projecting, with adjacent pivoted barn doors, rear lean-to outshut,
with entrance with slated lintel. Gable-end stack and 5 cross-axial stacks.
Various outshuts to rear. Included for group value.
