2 houses. Possibly C17 or C18. Roughcast stone with slate roofs. 2 storeys,
7 bays, 5th bay recessed and gabled; 6th and 7th bays recessed. Most windows
have casements; 1st bay has sashed windows with vertical glazing bars and horns,
that to 1st floor has gablet. 5th bay has 2 ground floor windows with timber
lintels and dripcourses; that to left has 2-light wooden chamfered-mullioned
window with reused lintel. Entrance between 2nd and 3rd bays, has slate slab
porch and wide-board door; entrance to 5th bay has stable type door.
Cross-axial stacks. 1st 3 bays form Jessamine Cottage. Included for group
value.
