House. C16, C17, late C18, mid C19 and C20. Mixed walling; the rear has exposed
framing with infill of malmstone and brickwork, the front has malmstone, some
coursed with galletting, some polygonal, with brick dressings (quoins, cambered
arches, plinth) and ironstone base, the other sections (mid C19) of brickwork and
malmstone. C20 tile roof, hipped at the south end with a gabled dormer, 2 gabled
1/2-dormers to the front. A timber-framed house, with later extensions and altera-
tions: west front of 1 1/2 storeys, 2 above 4 (one filled) windows. Victorian sashes
to the dormers, casements elsewhere. Early C19 porch of stone, with a tile roof,
and side entrance.
