Possible hall-house, now cottage pair. C15 with C18 cladding. Timber-framed
with red and blue brick elevations, slightly recessed to right with raised plat
band. Hipped plain tiled roof with gablet to left and tall stack to left with
projecting brick breast. 2 storeys; irregular 2-window front, casements.
Entrance off-centre to right,(number 578), with boarded door and flat hood on iron brackets over. Entrance at left hand end,(number 580), with boarded door in
projecting weather porch. C16 2-storey wing to rear with exposed timber-framing
and brick infill. Various other C19 and C20 red brick accretions to rear.
