House. Probably late C17 with later additions. Roughcast stone with slate
roof. 2 storeys, 5 irregular bays. Varied fenestration, mostly with casements,
those to central 2 bays are lower than other 1st floor windows; that to 5th bay
of ground floor has 3-light wooden chamfered-mullioned window with one-
intermediate bar. 3 entrances, 2 with gabled timber porches, one a trellis
porch with wide-boarded door. Gable-end stack and cross-axial stack. Rear has
sashed windows with glazing bars to 1st 2 bays. Barn to right of no special
interest.
