House, formerly rectory. Early - mid C19. Stuccoed exterior. Brick stacks
exposed above slate roof. Square building; two storeys with attic rooms in
roofspace. Single roof with flat central portion and low pitch to eaves and half-
gables at each end. End stacks disposed towards the front. Symmetrical front to
south-east. Rusticated quoins to corners. 2 windows. French windows on ground
floor, 16-pane sashes to first. Projecting eaves on shaped brackets. Main door on
left (south-weast) side with porch of debased Tuscan style on bulbous columns.
Here fenestration to centre 2nd left (rear) and includes large, ground floor, Ham
stone window - upright 3-light mullion-and-transom. Others 16-pane sashes and
casements. Included for group value.
