Gatehouse.1583, rebuilt c1965 (owing to foundations slipping) with a reproduction of the stucco south facade added 1967. Stucco with rusticated ground floor. Slate roof ith dormer. Four storeys and attic. One window. Elliptical arch over carriage way with smaller round-headed arch to footway at left. Oriel through first to third floor with three-light sash windows flanked by round-headed niches. Parapet. North side rebuilt in brick.
