GV II

Cottage C16 origin with C18 additions and further alterations and additions of
various dates. Rendered cob with hipped thatched roof having central brick stack.
One and a half storey, 2 window range. 2 and 3-light casements, some with full
and some with horizontal glazing bars. Near central plank door.

Internal features: said to contain reused C15 chamfered collar-trusses with
curved undersides to collars; west room has stop-chamfered beam.

The house was at one time divided into 2 tenements. (RCHM, Dorset, vol.III,
p.312, no.7.)
