Public house, shop and house. Probably C18 with later alterations. Roughcast
with slate roof and some exposed stone to 1st bay. 3 storeys, 6 bays; 1st bay
has 2-storey projecting wing, 6th bay has 3-storey wing, ground floor between
has lean-to projection. 1st bay has windows with slate-hung lintels and
casements; signs of blocked loading door. 2nd bay has bay window, canted to one
end; 4th and 5th bays have small-paned casements; 6th bay has C20 shop front
with plate glass casements above. 1st floor has 3 sashes with vertical glazing
bars and horns and one casement to 2nd to 5th bays; 2nd floor has 2:2:3:2-light
wooden mullioned windows. Entrance has panelled door with hipped roof over;
plain entrance to 1st bay. One projecting lateral stack and one lateral stack
to 6th bay. Left return has lean-to garage. Right return has plain casements
and 1st floor entrance. Rear built into hillside below church.
