C16, refronted in C18 and restored. Colour-washed roughcast; old tile roof. Two
storeys and attic with 5 restored dormers. Roughly symmetrical facade with
gabled projections left centre and right centre. On left hand, one-storey
extension with hipped end to roof and a 1:3:1 sash with pediment. On right
hand, kitchen wing with entrance behind old red brick wall. First floor, in
gables, paired sashes with pediments and 4 sashes. Ground floor with, in left
hand gable, a modern door and, in right hand gable, a 1:3:1 sash with pediment.
Central section with modern door and 2 sashes. Interior with C16 and C18
panelling and close string newel staircase with modern balusters. VCH III,
