Early to mid C18 origin altered and enlarged late C18 and early C19. Large 3
storey dark red brick house raised above road level. Low pitch gable end slate
roof, the eaves on small paired dentils. 3 windows symmetrical recessed rather
squat glazing bar sashes in stuccoed reveals with flat stucco arches. Pedimented
porch with slender reeded columns and reeded pilasters to wall, dentil cornice
and triangular pediment. 6 panel door in panelled reveal and soffit with semi-
circular traceried fanlight. Single storey wing at east, parapet with flat stone
roofing and 3 plain panels. 6 paned door with rectangular fanlight and flat bracketed
hood. Modern window. The rear portion of the house is circa 1822.
