1892. Four storey gateway with modern wings. Dutch Baroque style with
three different orders. Corner turrets with ogee heads, forming a canted
bay with three sash windows on each level. Central elliptical arch with
wrought-iron screen designed by Champneys and made by Elsey, 1893. Three
round-headed windows on each floor above the arch. Pantiled roof. The
long Neo-Georgian range to the North connects the Pfeiffer Building with
Sidgewick Hall.
