Probably C16 in origin, with the front re-modelled in the mid-C18, 3 storeys
with attics; brick; tile roof; modillioned cornice with low wood parapet
above; 4 windows, flush frames, later sashes without glazing bars; 2 gabled
dormers; modern shop front. 1 room with C17 panelling and another with
a C17 ceiling. (RCHM 149).
