II

Farmhouse, late C16. Plastered timber frame, modern brick
foundations, reed thatched roof. Three unit plan with lobby
entry; one storey and attic. Red brick ridge stack to right of
centre. Three casement dormer windows, three, three-light
ground floor casement windows; modern oak door. Interior has
large inglenook hearth with niches and salt cupboard, smaller
parlour hearth. Exposed wall frame and floor frames with stop-
chamfered axial beams and bolted clamps to studs.
