Cottage. Early C18 and late C18-early C19 remodelling. Early C18 red brick
of irregular bond to part of end wall and Haddenham gault brick Flemish bond
to front wall and rebuilt gable end. Plain tiled mansard roof, with pantiles
to upper pitch and tumbled gable ends. One storey and attic. Two dormers
with leaded roofs and scalloped edging above C19 sixteen pane hung sashes.
Segmental arches to two flush frame hung sashes, one early C19 and of sixteen
panes and one a later replacement with single central glazing bar. Central
doorway with early C19 reeded doorcase with boss enrichments at the corners,
moulded cornice with narrow hood. Six panelled door with reeded surround to
two lower panels. The north end wall has three iron ties with initials M I R.
