House. Late C17 or early C18 with remains of an earlier building refronted
and reroofed early C19. Timber-framed and plastered with plain tiled and
slate mansard roof. Tarred brick plinth. Two storeys with attics. End
stack to left hand and ridge stack. Central door and wooden doorcase with
reeded pilasters, frieze with paterae and cornice. Two three-light hung sash
windows and three flush-framed hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars.
Two three-light casement dormer windows. Lower extension to west. Attached
early C19 range to rear (partly demolished to south) of flint with red brick
dressings and with slate and pantile roofs. Interior: Exposed floor frames
showing reused material. Attic floor of industrial building range of
plastered laths.
