Formerly detached residence. Dated 1768. Dressed stone facades with
dressed quoins and brick. Stone slate roof. 3 bay symmetrical facade
with left bay breaking forward. Central doorway with round arched
fanlight, and single round arched window above to 1st floor. To left
and right, both floors, is Venetian window with raised surround and
impost and keystone blocks. Windows to 1st floor have glazing bars.
Over doorways is carved tablet showing stylised distilling process,
in low relief, inscription: C : S: MDCCLXVIII.

Wing to left, possibly slightly later but in same style, has brick
gable and rear wall. The rear of building is part brick and part
stone and has 2 and 3-light stone mullioned windows.

Adjoining stone cottage not included in the item.
