Cottage, formerly used by river pilot. C17. Painted slatestone rubble walls, steep
scantle slate roof with large C17 stone gable stack, left and small stone gable stack
over party wall with No 5, right, not including. 1 room plan. 2 storeys. 1 window
south front with 16-pane horned sashes. Doorway to right with boarded door. Old
16-pane 2-light casement with pintails for shutters survives to ground floor of left
gable end.
