House of 2 main builds; late C18 and mid C19. Snecked rubble with rusticated
quoins on plinth; eaves cornice. Hipped, graduated slate roofs with corniced
stone chimneys. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay C18 block to right has serpentine
front with central french window in stone surround set back between full-height
bay windows. 16-pane sashes, all-in stone surrounds, with one to 1st floor
centre narrower. Taller 2-bay mid C19 part adjoining south end has full-height
projecting porch to right; panelled door and fanlight in architrave with
segmental pediment carried on consoles. Sashes with glazing bars to front and 3
bays to south return; ground floor windows in architraves with consoles carrying
cornices, 1st floor in stone surrounds. Panelled inner shutters to windows,
panelled doors, and some decorative fireplaces.
