FLITWICK

House, possibly originally a pair of cottages. C18. Timber framed
construction with colourwashed roughcast render. S gable end rebuilt in
brick. Thatched roof. 2-room plan, 2 storeys. E elevation: variety of
casement windows mostly with glazing bars, 4 to ground floor, 3 to first
floor. Off-centre plank door. Red brick stacks to both gable ends. Applied
timber frame decoration to ground floor. Garage addition to RH gable. Lean-
to addition to rear.
