NY 32 NE MUNGRISDALE Southerfell

7/41 Southerfell Farmhouse

G.V. II

Former farmhouse. Dated on interior beam 1666 with extensive early C19
alterations. Painted roughcast walls with sandstone eaves cornice. Graduated
greenslate roof with rendered chimney stack. 2 storeys, 3 bays. C20 door and
sash windows in C19 painted stone surrounds. Small window to left of entrance.
Included for group value with Southerfell Cottage adjoining to right.
