Milestone. Probably early C19. Painted dressed stone. Square base and broadly
chamfered front angles, giving triangular shape. Inscribed to left chamfer:
"KL/3", and to right: "KENDAL/10/MILNTHORPE/6½", the figures in sunk panels.
Benchmark to top. Base now buried.
