Farmhouse and former stable. Late C17 (reused dated lintel on barn TC 1695)
with alterations dated and inscribed over entrance W. & S.C. 1759 (Cape).
Squared and coursed mixed sandstone with flush quoins under graduated greenslate
roof with coped gables and kneelers; painted rendered chimney stacks. 2
storeys, 2 bays with single-bay extension to right and former single-bay stable
to left, all under common roof. 4-panel door in painted stone surround. Sash
and casement windows in painted stone surrounds. Extension has kitchen doorway
and enlarged ground-floor window. Stable has plank door and loft door.
Interior has beamed ceiling, heck partition and firebeam.
