Home Farmhouse,

House, formerly farmhouse. Dated 1604 with initials S.D. on reused stone in
front wall, late C18 alterations. Red sandstone rubble walls, Welsh slate roof
and C20 tile roof to extension right, brick and stone chimney stacks. Formerly
early C17 single storey cottage of 3 bays, altered in early C18 with additional
storey and extended by 2 bays right to form two houses in late C18. Front has 2
small original windows to ground floor, with filled entrance to left; 3rd window
to right has enlarged early C19 2-pane sash. Small upper floor casements are in
early C18 surrounds. Extension to right has plank door; staircase window with
glazing bars to right. Rear formerly had 2 entrances, one now filled. Sash
windows with glazing bars, filled smaller windows to ground floor.
