House and stables. Dated and inscribed over rear doorway. J&RS 1797, with mid
C19 alterations. Painted stucco walls with V-jointed quoins, under graduated
greenslate roof with coped gables and left kneeler, the right wing with ball
finials; stucco chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays with right gabled wing and
lower left recessed single-bay extension; rear adjoining L-shaped stables.
Off-centre double doors within pilastered porch. Sash windows with partial
glazing bars in painted stone architraves. Left windows replaced by later bay
window. Wing has large ground-floor bay window under 3-light mid C19 window.
Extension has sash window with partial glazing bars in painted stone surround,
the ground-floor covered by conservatory. Stables have segmental-arched doorway
with dated keystone.
