House with barn and byres adjoining. Early C18 with later additions; house
extended one bay into barn, on right, in 1903. Coursed, squared rubble with
quoins; house and barn whitewashed. Graduated slate roofs. Wings to rear of
house. 2 storeys (barn lower), 11 bays (3:4:4). 1903 house extension has
part-glazed door in C20 glazed porch with inserted window immediately to left
and sash above; original house has 3-light stone-mullioned window and casement
to ground floor and 3 casements above, all in stone surrounds. Stone end
chimneys to original house. Barn, adjoining to right, has central wagon door
with door and windows to ground floor on either side and loft door to upper
right. Byre, set back on left, has 2 plank doors to ground floor with stone
steps between up to two 1st floor plank doors.
