Farmhouse and barn. Late C18 with alterations dated and inscribed over entrance
H.H. 1844 (Howard). Roughcast over sandstone rubble walls, under graduated
greenslate roof with sandstone ashlar chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with
lower right-angled barn. Studded plank door in C19 red sandstone surround.
Double casement windows with glazing bars in red sandstone surrounds, those to
right smaller. Rear C19 stair extension and outshut. Barn has rear left
segmental-arched doorway and right smaller doorway; central casement window and
small square eaves openings.
