Later C19. Picturesque lodge. Two storeys. Brick with sandstone dressings. Tiled
half-hipped roof. One chimney. Three steep gables to main facades with pierced
bargeboards. First floor under central gable, and to ends, jettied. Some imitated
half-timbering. Windows of three lights with chamfered surrounds and mullions of
stone to ground floor, of two lights with wooden frames to first floor. All glazed
with ornamental lattice. Modern double entrance (the building formerly had a first
floor entry).
