buildings

House and adjacent range. C18 remodelled in early C19. Rubble with quoins and
dressings, rear wing partly brick, slate roof of double span. Front elevation
2 storeys, 1 and 3 windows reflecting former office/house division. House section
has central 9-panelled door with oblong fanlight in raised surround with heavy
cornice. Inserted early C19 6-pane sashes. Coped gables, ashlar end stacks with
conjoined shafts, rebuilt brick ridge stack and 2 earlier corniced ashlar stacks
on rear wing. Area railings. Rear wing has various openings, some blocked. Brick
outbuildings on north side of wing and further range of buildings forming third
side of courtyard not of interest.
