23/112 Wraygreen farmhouse
with barn adjoining
to north

Farmhouse. Built-in court cupboard (now removed) dated 1644 but building
possibly older. Later additions and alterations include ramp barn adjoining
north end. Coursed rubble with quoins, partly rendered. Graduated slate roof
with stone-flagged eaves. 2 storeys. House 4 bays with rear wing. Blocked
door to rear, plank door in wing. East elevation: Blocked 2-light window with
sash to right, casement and sash to left, all under continuous hoodmould with
scrolled labels; 3 sashes, blocked 2-light window and fire window to 1st floor.
Stone copings and kneelers to south gable; rendered end chimneys to house.
2-bay barn under continuous roof has plank door in architrave to rear; ramp up
to inserted 1st floor part-glazed double doors on north return. House interior:
Stop chamfered beams; panelled door and partition.
