SU 79 SE HAMBLEDEN FINGEST

3/69 Ivy Cottage

GV II

House. C17, altered. Externally refaced with flint and brick,
whitewashed; some timber framing exposed in rear wing; weatherboarding
to upper part of right gable. Old tile roof, brick chimneys to rear of
front wing and to far end of rear wing. T-plan. l½ storeys, 3 bays, the
left bay probably a later addition. Narrow right bays have small brick
gables with C20 3-light leaded casements. 4 similar casements to ground
floor. All windows have segmental heads. C20 door to right of centre.
Interior shows timber framing, some rooms with chamfered spine beams.
