Cottage. Late C15 or early C16, rebuilt in late C17 or early C18.
Timber-framed and plastered, cedar wood shingled roof half hipped to right
hand, originally thatched. Two rectangular planned ridge stacks and end
stack to right hand with offsets. One storey and attic. Five ground floor
windows of various sizes, one blocking a doorway, C20 main entrance in rear
extension. Three casement dormer windows with sloping roofs. Interior:
Hearth with reused hollow-chamfered mantel beam with some painted decoration,
post with similar detail. Exposed timber-frame, rafters and chamfered floor
beams. Interior plan altered.
