House, C17. Clunch, rubble, brick and timber framing; colourwashed. Thatched
roof with brick stacks to gables and part way along ridge. One and a half
storeys, 4 irregular window range. Central 2 storey canted bay with timber
mullioned windows. Various casements with glazing bars. Plank door.

Internal features (RCHM): cross passage plan; winding stair in east gable wall
adjacent to fireplace (RCHM, Dorset, vol III, p 129, no 6)
