Symmetrical terrace composition of early-mid C19. Each house 2 windows wide;
end houses have added entrance bay. Centre and end single houses project and
are of 4 storeys; others of 3 only, all with basements. Stock brick. Stuccoed
frieze and cornice, stone-coped brick parapet. Stuccoed basement and ground
floor whose banded rustications form voussoirs to round-arched door and window
recesses and elliptical door recesses in outer bays. Sash windows with glazing
bars, round-headed with radial glazing on ground floor, under flat gauged brick
arches above. Ornamental cast iron balconies on first floor. Tripartite windows
in inner basements. Three-panel doors with panelled pilasters, cornice head
and plain fanlight. Flights of 9 new steps to door terraces bridge a basement
area which has been widened during rehabilitation. Protecting end walls to
outer bays.
