14/18 The Old Bakehouse

GV II

House. Late C18. Coursed limestone rubble, slate roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit
plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Central part-glazed door with timber
lintel and hood on brackets. 16-pane horned sash windows to ground and first
floors with timber lintels and small 1-light window to first floor right with
timber lintel. Gable end to street has 3-light casement windows to ground, first
and attic floors, all with stop-chamfered timber lintels and 2-light casement
cellar window with timber lintel. Lower 2-storey C19 brick extension to right.
Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
