Pair of cottages. Early C19, built for the Every family of
Egginton Hall. Rendered brick with brick and tile dressings,
plain tile roof with-rendered gable brick stacks. Plinth and
plain band at lintel level of windows. Each cottage, single bay
and single storey plus attics. Cottages have central blind
semi-circular headed recess with brick sawtooth edging to arch.
Set within the recess are two semi-circular headed doorcases
with radiating, pointed brick voussoirs, and raised imposts.
Blind fanlights and ogee panelled doors below. To either side
of central recess are single four-centred arched recesses with
2-light casement windows within, each under flat arch of pointed
brick voussoirs, similar to those to the doorcases. Above, two
half dormers with Y-tracery, four-centred arched, windows with
leaded lights.
