House. Probably C17 with later alterations. Roughcast render; graduated greenslate
roof; stone ridge; 2 end chimney stacks with slate drips and one stack to rear.
T-plan. 2 storeys with single-storey lean-to at right. 5 windows, irregular:
C19 casements, possible in original openings, some with small iron opening lights.
2-storey gabled porch with round headed openings and side benches, C20 gabled
door. Interior has chamfered joists, fire beam and remains of heck partition,
spiral staircase with wooden treads over original stone. According to RCHM
the first floor has an ornamental plaster panel with initials and date G & SM
l661 (could not be inspected). RCHM p.219
