Wrongly marked on Ordnance Survey map as Low Winsley Farmhouse. Mid - late
C18, refenestrated mid C19, with possibly earlier wing. Coursed squared
gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. 2-storey, 3-bay main block facing
south, with wing to rear right of 2 storeys and 3 bays. Main block: quoins.
Central glazed door with C19 stone single-storey porch. 4-pane sash window
over door, otherwise 6-pane sashes, all in eared architraves. Stone gutter
brackets, shaped kneelers, gable copings, 3 small roof lights, end corniced
stacks. Rear: tall 2-light staircase window with 2 transoms. Rear wing:
east side: C19 or later porch, 3-light flat-faced mullion windows; shaped
kneelers, gable coping, ridge stacks far right and between bays 1 and 2.
Interior not inspected. The rear wing is separately roofed and is possibly
the earlier house on the site.
