GV II

2 houses. c1840. Painted render with large voussoirs to
flat-arched openings. Slate roof with brick stacks to left
gable end and right-of centre ridge. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys;
2-window range. The block to the left has 8/8-pane sash
windows to the first floor, half-glazed double doors (now
blocked) to the ground-floor left and a wide carriage entrance
to the right. To the right of it a full-height wall, with a
6-raised-and-fielded panelled door to the left and a painted
chamfered long/short quoin to the right, cants forward to meet
No.11 (qv). The entrances are through the archway. INTERIORS
not inspected.
