Built originally during the early C19 as row of farmworkers'
cottages, including an early C17 timber framed and plastered
cottage to south-east (No. 7) with thatched roof and original
ridge stack. Nos. 1, 3 and 5 two storeys, red brick with slate
roofs and tall ridge stacks. Five first floor horizontal
sliding sash windows with glazing bars in cambered arches. Six
similar windows and one canted, shop, bay window with slate roof
to No. 3. Four, panelled doors. Doorway to No. 1 blocked.
Included for group value with 'The Plough' in Caxton Road.
