Stable with granary above. Probably late C18. Stone rubble. Slate roof with hipped
ends.
Plan: Rectangular plan with 2 entrances on front and at least one other blocked door
opening, now a window. Entrance to loft up external stair on left hand end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 6-window front with dressed stone segmental arches to
ground floor openings. C19 12-panel door to right of centre and on left. Three C19
16-pane sashes anb blocked window to right. First floor has six 6-pane C19 hornless
sashes alternating with 2 rows of pigeon holes. External stair on left hand side and
2 quatrefoil openings in right hand side.
Interior: Ground floor has complete C19 stalls with chamfered uprights and mangers
to rear.
The stables were known as the Rink because the first floor was used for roller
skating between the First and Second World War.
